Lucky’s Café is one of Cleveland’s very popular iconic restaurants that is celebrated locally and has been featured on the Food Network twice. Known for our commitment to making everything from scratch using as many farm fresh products as we can, our kitchen is open from 9am-3pm, 7 days a week. And for the past 15 years we have been recognized for having one of Cleveland’s best brunches.
We are looking for a professional person who cares about putting their best foot forward and has a real passion for cooking with fresh ingredients. In addition to the ability to train and manage a crew of talented young professionals, we are looking for the following qualities:
The perfect candidate will possess the following qualities or abilities:
- A minimum of two years of experience and proven track record in a high volume kitchen
- Uses a "lead by example" approach to train/develop kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency
- A professional and positive attitude
- Highest degree of honesty and integrity
- Punctuality and reliability
- Both gives and takes directions well
- Works with a sense of urgency and trains others to do the same
- Organized and detail oriented - Familiarity with scratch cooking
- Effective and timely problem solving skills
- Capable of maintaining an organized, safe and sanitary kitchen
- Participate in hiring, ordering, scheduling and daily production schedules
- Participate in running proper labor and food cost
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Able to consistently produce the highest quality food under pressure
