Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Expertise: Lead and manage all maintenance and repair activities for assigned properties. This includes routine inspections, troubleshooting, and addressing issues promptly to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
- Fulfilling Timelines: Oversee the timeline of all site jobs, communicate with our suppliers and stay on schedule as planned. Read the architectural plans and make sure the job is going well. Figure out machinery that would be necessary for each project by looking at the plans and find out the most effective way to use the equipment. Implement preventive maintenance strategies to prolong the life of equipment and enhance property value.
- Workers Relations: Foster positive relationships with site workers by addressing all the job-related issues that they have. Your excellent interpersonal skills will contribute to friendly work environment. Lead the team.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of job site activities, inspections, and repairs. Communicate with inspectors that all is up to codes. Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure high-quality work and cost-effective solutions. Negotiate contracts and monitor service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in construction as a superintendent, property management or a related field is preferred.
- Willing to travel for 1 or 2 weeks out
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction, maintenance and repair procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
