Chiropractic/Wellness center is looking for a high energy and motivated individual to join our team!
To excel in this position you have to be a people person; have the ability to multi-task; must be a team player and have high level of energy. The job description includes but is not limited to:
- Assist with the application of various therapy modalities (Ultrasound, EMS, etc.), for which you will be trained.
- Assist with patient exercises and exercise programs prescribed by the doctor.
- Triage new patients (Blood pressure, height and weight, etc.).
- Keep therapy rooms cleaned and stocked.
- Assist with DOT physicals including vitals and filling out paper work.
- Order clinic therapy supplies
- Assist with phone coverage when the front counter is busy (great phone and communication skills a must).
- Pulling files for the day and re-filing them at night.
Please note: this is an active position! We have up times and down times at the clinic. During up times you are assiting the doctor with the patients which is not a seated job. You MUST be a team player and have the ability to multitask and help wherever is needed in the office. Again, great communication skills are an absolute must. An interest in health and fitness is also very important as we strive to show patients the benefits of a healthy lifestyle by our own example. You must be genuinely interested in helping people. Our office has been in the Highland area for over 30 years, and what sets us apart is an unyielding caring attitude for our patients by the doctor and the staff. All trauma and drama is left at the door as we want a healthy and happy work environment for our staff and our patient family.
Hours will primarily be Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, with DOT physicals on on Tuesdays, for approximately 32-35 hours per week. On Monday and Wednesdays, patients are scheduled until 6:15, so they are longer days. Fridays we see patients until 5:30. DOT's are scheduled 10:00 - 4:00 on Tuesdays.
If you have previous experience in this position, that would be great, but we can train the right person. Once again, a high level of energy, empathy and the ability to learn new skills as well as a positive and uplifting personality is a must in a position like this.
