Trucking company, INTER FREIGHT INC, from 2003 in business, located in Gary, Indiana, with our yard, offices and truck service, right from I-80/94, is looking for a serious, motivated and experienced person for the Safety department .

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Previous experience in trucking company is a must

- Managerial and Organization skills

- Has experience handling a wide range of safety and compliance tasks and is very knowledgeable of FMCSA and DOT requirements, rules and regulations.

- Check MVRS and PSP reports

- Follow up with new drivers

- Report and handle claims

- Prepare for and conduct remote & in person new driver orientations

- Communicate daily with dispatch and management on issues

- Knowledge of ELD system and Log Book Regulations by FMCSA

- Conduct monthly & quarterly system audits

- Detail-orientated

- Computer skills

- Good communication skills

- Multilingual is a plus.

This is a full time in the office position Monday - Friday

BASE PAY (negotiable)
1 WEEK PAID VACCATION AFTER 9 MONTHS
