With over 20 years in business, Unique Computing Solutions, Inc. is a managed service provider (MSP). We provide high-quality managed IT solutions, training, and technical resources to companies of all sizes.
The candidate is responsible for the installation, upgrade, and support of network servers, personal computers and related hardware/software, network cabling, and building wiring, as well as the training of users in the use of network-based applications. Candidate should have a *can-do*, service-oriented demeanor.
Additionally, the successful candidate will perform the following functions:
- Configure newly purchased network servers, personal computers, and related hardware, set to standard configuration, and install application software as required.
- Email support and solutions using Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, Exchange On-Line, and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of VMWare, Hyper-V, and Virtualization.
- Backup support and solutions using Datto
- Firewall support and solutions like Check Point, Cisco, SonicWALL
- Anti-spam software support and solutions like Barracuda Spam Firewalls.
- Corporate-wide virus protection support and solutions like Webroot
- Responds to problem calls from end users to diagnose and repair computers and software.
- Responds to Technical Service Requests regarding adds, moves, and changes to computers and software.
Bachelor's Degree with MCSE and/or 10 years experience. We will also consider entry-level candidates and we are willing to train.
Windows environment including, but not limited to, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management.
Candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify and explain technical concepts to non-technical end-users, strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience administering, installing, and maintaining Microsoft Exchange Server
- Experience administering Huntress, Threatlocker, Datto RMM, DNS Filter,
- Strong Customer Service oriented demeanor
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows, Windows Servers, and Microsoft Office
- Clear understanding of TCP/IP
- Experience with network Printers
- Ability to swap internal components and resolve minor hardware issues
- Professional attitude, good interpersonal skills, and reliable
