Responsibilities of the position:
• Minimum of 3+ years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics. Roll-Form Machinery experience a PLUS
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and drive equipment
• Comfortable with computers
• Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Repairs and maintains equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers’ specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Examines form of manufactured parts to detect imperfections. Inspects manufactured parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective machine parts and installs special functional or structural parts.
• Start devices to test their performance and lubricates and cleans parts and equipment.
• May set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Applies electrical knowledge to test electrical equipment and controls and circuitry to determine causes for malfunction.
• Tests motor control devices, A/C drives, switch panels, transformers, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principals.
• Diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Uses safe working practices and performs work as efficiently as possible.
• Follows good housekeeping practices and performs work to high quality standards.
• Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
• Work with plant manager to continually update the production process
• Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists and hand tools.

• Uses applicable reference material and at the direction of management may be required to use specialized reference material.
• May specialize in one or more of the following areas, but would not be required to have specialized knowledge in all areas: roll-form machinery, mechanical, electrical, electronics, HVAC and hydraulics. In all cases, would have general knowledge of all areas.
• Additional Duties may include:
• Skid Assembly, Slitting, Folding, Welding, Pick & Pack Orders, Load/Unload Company Truck, Load/Unload LTL Carriers, Machine Operation.
• All other assignments as directed by Plant Manager

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Required Education / Skills
• High School Diploma (GED),
• Ability to create and follow schedules
• Lift Truck Experience (high level)
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and carry loads of 50+ lbs necessary
• Manual and Physical Dexterity
• Bilingual Speaking a Plus
• Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
Must have three (3) years experience within the maintenance field.
Must have experience in electrical (480V; 3PH power)
Must have working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) and motor controls.
