Job duties:
- Be aware of company policies, procedures, and systems.
- Create a production schedule.
- Perform safety audits.
- Ensure workplace safety at the start of the shift.
- Take care of manpower planning for the assigned shift.
- Follow the company operating procedures to make sure customer products are - processed properly and meet the specification.
- Ensure product quality and avoid large rejections.
- Provide all the necessary tools to the direct reports for them to function efficiently.
- Work towards achieving the targets for key performance indicators in areas like safety, quality, and productivity.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects like cost reduction, productivity improvement, ergonomics, etc. for the plant.
- Will be a team member for solving problems.
- Keep the plant floor well organized.
- Administer disciplinary activities.
- Work on employee evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.
