1st shift 6:30 am -3:00 pm M-F (Saturdays and OT required) in an energetic powder coating warehouse company in Kenosha.
Powder Coat Painter Job Description
• Review prints and job router to ensure that product is masked/holes plugged correctly per prints.
• Mask surface and/or plug holes if necessary.
• Visual inspect product hangings prevent products from touching in transit to verify best adhesion.
• Color change as needed to apply correct color per print.
• Use handheld spray control to apply powder coat to surface.
• Quality control to check parts for full paint coverage and appearance.
• Occasional assistance in removal of finished parts from rack system and package for safe shipment to customer.
• Maintain powder booth cleanliness and perform filter system cleaning
• Review stock powder and alert President of levels are low and require repurchasing.
Qualifications
• Must have attention to detail and quality focused.
• Ability to follow work instructions and work in a fun small team environment.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs (if necessary) and stand for 8 hr shift.
• Sit down forklift certification available.
