Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.50per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:

\x95 Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
\x95 Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
\x95 Other duties as assigned
Cashier Responsibilities:
\x95 Processes customer purchases, performs general cleaning duties, stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
\x95 Provides exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience
\x95 Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
\x95 Participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy
\x95 Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
Stocker Responsibilities:
\x95 Stocks shelves and rotates product properly to guarantee fresh product is available for the customer
\x95 Follows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
\x95 Organizes new inventory, removes and breaks down empty boxes
\x95 Operates machinery and follows all safety procedures
Physical Demands:
\x95 Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store
\x95 Stocker: Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights
Qualifications:
\x95 You must be 18 years of age or older
\x95 Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
\x95 Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
\x95 Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
\x95 Excellent verbal communication skills
\x95 Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
\x95 Effective time management
\x95 Knowledge of products and services of the company
\x95 Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
\x95 Cashier: Comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
\x95 Stocker: Ability to operate equipment safely and properly, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
Education and Experience:
\x95 High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
\x95 Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
\x95 A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
