Snow and Ice Management Company seeking a Manager with experience and knowledge in Snow and Ice Management.
Must work with team to plow and salt during snowfalls.
Additional duties may include:
• Keep track of all inventory pre/post snow event and report all bulk usage.
• Assess performance and skillset of all seasonal crew members during snow events while also ensuring
productivity/safety and report feedback to Operations Manager.
• Work closely with dispatch to monitor crew progress and attendance during snow events.
• Provide additional training as needed for seasonal crew members.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Report all accidents in a timely manner to appropriate Chain of Command
• Assist Operations Manager in the recruiting process of seasonal crews.
• Assist crew members in using time keeping app to clock in/out along with how to upload necessary data for billing.
Requirements:
• Snow and Ice Management Experience Required
• Available to be on call 24/7 during snow season (Oct-April)
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literate.
Note: Full time, year round position or Winter only position available
During Spring, Summer or Fall, candidate will be required to assist with minor tree and landscape work
when needed.
