I came to America with fiance visa 2000. My ex-fiance abused me
very bad . I had a police report. I left him. I did not marriage with him.
I got a marriage with another American man before my fiance visa
expired. On next day after our wedding Immigration did arest me
and put me in deportation proceeding...
First laywer did apply for U-visa on 2001.
After wedding my American husband did start abuse me too...
I did leave him after 1 year of our marriage and I was lieve in
shelter around 1 year. I got a no-contact order.
My second laywer did apply for selfpetition on 2002.
When I was in shelter my husband was sick. He got a stroke
and got a main surgery in his brain. He did not work 3 months,.
I still loved him and return to him after shelter, because he was need my help after his surgery. But he did continue to abuse
me... Now I live separate.
VAWA was approved my selfpetition on 2004.
The judge was cancel my deportation on 2005.
I have a third laywer. She say -- she can not do anything about my legal status. And I must wait U-visa.
I read info in yahoo.

and they do not need wait U-visa.>

I showed the info to my third laywer......She said--- I must wait U-visa.
I live in America 6 years and I am victim of abuse 2 time
and I still do not have a green card.
--- 1. Igor-- what do you think about my situation ???
What I can do ?
And second guestion. I want divorce with my husband.
He doesn*t want the divorce...He said -- I will wait the divorce
several years, because he is does not want one.
Same people say -- I need keep my marriage till I will got a green card... Immigration do not like single women...
Same people say-- I need take the divorce...
So -- I don not know -- what I can do -- keep the bad marriage or divorce ???
---2. Can the divorce fluent at my green card in my case ?
---3. If I will apply for divorce-- how long I can get one ?
