Responsibilities

* Dispatch and coordinate drivers for daily freight operations.
* Schedule pickups and deliveries while maximizing efficiency.
* Monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and drivers.
* Communicate with brokers, shippers, and receivers.
* Resolve delivery issues and service disruptions promptly.
* Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
* Ensure drivers comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and freight brokers.

Requirements

* Previous truck dispatching experience is required.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience using load boards and transportation management software is preferred.
* Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
