DIESEL SHOP MANAGER Needed in Transportation Company
A privately owned transportation company located in Bedford Park, IL (60638) is looking for a Shop Manager. Full-Service Repair Facility is dedicated to servicing a fleet of 60+ trucks and 100+ semi-trailers to the highest standards of quality.
As a Shop Manager, your key responsibility is to execute the daily processes and activities involved in all aspects of our fleet maintenance facility. This multifaceted position has you accountable for managing a group of technicians and ensuring shop efficiency and safe operation. Must be fluent in English and bilingual in Ukrainian, Russian, or Polish.
Qualifications & Skills
• Most recent shop management experience
• Previous experience as a heavy-duty mechanic
• Advance knowledge of Class 8 truck drive trains and diagnostics, truck-trailer electrical, hydraulic and structural systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional attitude and team mindset
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred
