Family owned transportation company in Romeoville, IL is looking for Mechanic/Technician to maintain company trucks (Freightliner Cascadia) and trailers (Utility, Wabash Dry Vans). You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment. We provide tools. Valid CDL Class A License preferred, but not required. Diagnose semi-truck and semi-trailer issues. Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal mandated safety inspections and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements. Perform system repairs to include engine (minor), tires, drive-train, steering, suspension, electrical and A/C. The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Pay up to $30 - $35 per hour. Schedule: Monday to Friday.
