Кто знает как можо решить проблемы с косульством если билети взяти с Н-Й в Киев на 27 сентября а вернутся по новым правилам надо до 3-го сентября, а поменять не получается нету свободных билетов! Может делают какую-то справку о такой екстренной ситуации,для того чтоб не биыло проблем в будущем с получением визы? Заранее благодарен!
Summer Work and Travel is a summer student exchange program. Thus, all SWT participants have to complete their exchange programs not later than the beginning of the academic year at the Ukrainian Universities. Traditionally, in Ukraine, the academic year starts on September 1. In case that the Ukrainian University's (or your particular faculty's) official academic year begins later than September 1 for all its students, the program end date as indicated on the DS-2019 may be later than September 1, however, in no instance should it exceed University's or faculty's official start date. The 30 day grace period for travel should also be completed before the University date indicated on the DS-2019. All Ukrainian agencies, U.S. Sponsors, employers, SWT participants have to comply with the U.S. Immigration Law, and, consequently, follow all Exchange program rules.
We understand that some students can encounter circumstances in which he/she cannot make it back to Ukraine by the end date as noted in the DS-2019 - which corresponds with the start of the fall semester. The Consular Officer will look at the individual circumstances of each case and if the overstay was reasonable i.e., lack of flights, the overstay was only a couple of days, and the Consular Officer determines it was not the individuals intent to overstay and violate the terms of the program, a short overstay will not adversely affect the granting of future visas.
