Всё-бы хорошо [два языка] но есть одно НО в этих школах занижена программа.В комп.будет это занесено что ваш ребёнок учил.по упрощён.прогр.и учить будут соответсв.Поэтому идите в норм амер.школу там ребёнку пред.дополн.занятия по языку.Обязательно в класс по возрасту .

Friday night, Whitman Elem School in Wheeling (beyond Fresh farm) had a family dance - IT was amazing, not only all kids dressed up and danced but teachers and parents dressed up as well. WOW, i think that school has the MOST FUN teachers...
Family dance was done by professional disk-jockey couple who as a parents volunteer time and equipment for the event...
I don't remember when I saw a joy on teacher faces attending school event in other schools...

So? Define "adequate"? Basically, it means almost nothing and it's not going to happen.

AYP is actually well defined.... Unless, state reverses ISAT for ESL students back to IMAGE version - it is very possible not to make AYP progress, I believe Glenbrook North this year was cited as not making AYP because of students with disabilities not scoring as expected...

This year D21 accepted No Child Left Beyond Funds
After ESL students took regular ISAT test - Whitman scores went below 50%, I guess board figured out it can't get any lower... and can only improve from that point on..
Of course, you also have to remember that most of board members represent West Side of the districts
Did you know that area north of Dundee around Wolf and West of Milwaukee was redistricted to Field School/London Middle School ? Guess who of board members lives in that area ?
