Is it possible to get a small loan from the bank ($3000-$4000) for a couple of months if you have a paid off car (it is brand new car worth about $20000) and you leave the title to secure the loan?

Your best bet is to try a small local bank. The large ones give out auto loans to purchase vehicles, not title loans which are usually given out by payday loan places that charge exorbitent interest rates. For a small loan like that, your best bet is to apply for a personal loan but only if you have a better than average credit history. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. Good luck!
