My sister who is 16yo went to Russia for 2 weeks for a visit. She was suppose to come back last Saturday but when she got to the airport she was told by the custom people that they wouldn't let her leave Russia without her moms permission (mom is here in Chicago), and the letter has to be signed by a RUSSIAN notary or Russian consulate in USA. I called consulate in DC, they said that they have 3 weeks waiting list for such matters. Is there something that we can do to bring my sister back????? Thank you in advance for your help!

If your sister looks like southern people - black eyes and black hair - her mom or dad MUST go to Russia to help your sister.

Так, значит она гражданин россии, правильно? Стало быть подпадает под законы российские каторые гласят што ребёнок становица совершеннолетним в 14 лет (по моему в етом возрасте пасспорт щас там выдают). А если она совершеннолетняя то при чом сдесь родители и их разршение?

Пы.Сы. а чо такое Интернешынал паспорт?
