About Kellogg : мой gmat score was 690 /,что не совсем высокий но acceptable. At that time I was doing the entrepreneur start up with 2 people; they needed me for Russian market research and generating ideas. Since it was a start up with very interesting strategy, and it was entering new market ( Russian) , it played a major role into determining my Kellogg acceptance. The interview was very detailed but not tough. The main point is you have to bring something new on the table. They don't look only at your gmat score. They want some business experience and good recommendation letters. I got 2 very good referrals one from the person who built South Baringhton shopping center in IL ( Arboritum), another one from the person who is CFO in major loan company. Plus, without bragging, I am very good looking, and historically I always got luck with oriental people ( they simply love dealing with me) , so there were 3 Chinese Professors on the board ... A little bit of luck and charms + experience + good gmat = Kellogg Acceotance.
And , yes, they do the background check but not the same one as for the citizenship , so mine was Crystal clear ;) |
